By accessing and using VersQ ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service. These terms apply to all users of the service, including browsers, customers, and contributors of content.
VersQ provides AI-powered document translation services supporting multiple file formats including PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, TXT, HTML, RTF, ODT, CSV, JSON, XML, SRT, VTT, and EPUB.
Our service processes documents up to 200+ pages and supports 25+ languages with professional-grade translation quality through advanced AI models.
We offer subscription-based plans with varying usage limits, model access, and processing priorities.
Account Creation: You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. Authentication is handled through our secure provider (Clerk).
Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old to use this service. Users under 18 require parental consent.
Account Suspension: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior.
Basic Plan: Free tier with limited monthly usage and basic model access
Personal Plan: $7.99/month with increased limits and standard model access
Professional Plan: $22.99/month with professional models and priority processing
Enterprise Plan: $49.99/month with premium models and highest priority
Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually in advance through Stripe. All fees are non-refundable unless required by law.
Usage is calculated based on "effective words" which vary by AI model tier (Budget: 1x, Standard: 3x, Professional: 6x, Premium: 10x multiplier).
Overage charges may apply for usage exceeding plan limits on applicable plans at rates specified in your subscription.
No Refund Policy: All subscription fees and usage charges are final and non-refundable. This includes partial months of service.
Payment Failure: Failed payments may result in immediate service suspension until payment is resolved.
Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days advance notice to existing subscribers.
You may use our service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You agree not to:
Each subscription plan has specific monthly limits for effective words, translations, and document processing. Exceeding limits may result in service restrictions or additional charges where applicable.
We implement rate limiting and abuse prevention measures to ensure fair usage for all customers.
We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.
Processing times vary based on document complexity and subscription tier priority (Enterprise receives highest priority processing).
You retain all ownership rights to documents you upload and their translations. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to translate uploaded content.
Original uploaded files are not persisted on our servers. The extracted source text and translated output are stored in your account so you can access, edit, and download your translations. You can delete any translation from your dashboard at any time.
The VersQ platform, including all software, algorithms, and user interfaces, is proprietary and protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our service or reverse engineer our technology.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our service according to these terms and your subscription plan.
AI-Generated Content: Translations are generated using AI models and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or cultural nuances that require human review.
No Guarantee: We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of translations for any specific purpose.
Professional Use: For critical business, legal, or medical documents, we recommend professional human review of all translations.
User Responsibility: You are responsible for reviewing and validating translation quality before use.
Service Limitation: Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding any claim.
No Consequential Damages: We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
Translation Errors: We are not liable for damages resulting from translation errors, inaccuracies, or misunderstandings.
Data Loss: While we implement security measures, we are not liable for data loss or security breaches beyond our reasonable control.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DarnerX, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and third-party providers from any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees arising from your use of the service, violation of these terms, or infringement of any intellectual property or other rights.
By You: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Service continues until the end of your current billing period.
By Us: We may terminate or suspend your account immediately for violations of these terms, illegal activity, or abuse of the service.
Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Your data will be deleted according to our data retention policies.
Survival: Provisions regarding limitation of liability, indemnification, and intellectual property survive termination.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or service notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
